So I think I have officially made friends in college with college people. I watched LSU beat Auburn tonight 20-17. It's growing on me, but Geaux Tigers!! This took place across the hall in Kevin's room, along with Adam from down the hall and new friend Michael. Great game, as TigersVsTigers always is. It's stange knowing the mood of the school for the rest of the week is dependent upon a scoreboard. Afterwards, we came back to my place (10 feet) and shared music. Adam read some Elvis Costello lyrics I had lying around and loved it, so that's great. Then we broke out my Beatles' chords book and Michael and I played songs (keyboard and guitar, respectively) requested by Kevin's girlfriend Meredith et al. until it was only Michael and I playing A Day in the Life, which is my favorite Beatles' song. It clicked really well. It felt really good. Thank you, everyone, if you are reading this. You've made me feel a lot more comfortable being down here and not so alone. Lindsay, I wish you could've been here for it. We'll have to stay up late sharing music often whenever you get down here.
Must to off to ready oneself for bed to wake to leave for church in the sunrise. Good-night, all.

Final Cut Express Test
Sorry for no updates in a while. Here we go:
Got Final Cut Express from a very good friend of mine (Yes, you will have those seats you asked for) and have been trying to get used to all that new madness. I pieced together the following clip using all the programs included with FCE. I shot the footage, edited it with Final Cut Express, made the music with loops in Soundtrack, did the title in LiveType, and now you can see it.
Final Cut Express Test (QT 1.5 MB, Sorenson 3 Codec; 36 sec.)
Not very impressive, sure. Just me messing around again.
I don't feel like it.

A Homemade Camera Stabilizer
So today, Dad and I went to Home Depot and Academy Sports to gather supplies to build a camera stabilizer. We used the design shown at the bottom of the page here as a point of departure and made it up as we went along. Then Dad put it together in less than an hour, round abouts. It needs a lot of practice and maybe a few adjustments, but I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Test Video (QT 6.7 MB, Sorenson 3 Codec; 2 min, 17 sec.)
Sorry for the large file size on the video; I added music, titles, and transitions needlessly. Oh, my love for the aesthetic.
Also, there's a possibility for an upgrade from iMovie and iDVD. Stay tuned for more details.

EATREDMEAT. DVDs
Hey guys, it's true!
Regular-style, no bonus feature DVD versions of EATREDMEAT. are now available!
I struggled with this process all day. Luckily, I got it done. And I actually found one of those cheesy iDVD themes that worked.
I'll be adding commentary over the fall break.
So, if you seriously want one, lemme know.

The Eddie Show: Episode One
Hey fans, family and friends, it's that time again! Time for your dose of everyone's favorite hand-and-sharpie puppet: EDDIE!!
Download this week's episode:
The Top Five (QT 5.8 MB, Sorenson 3 Codec; 2 min, 24 sec.)
This happens to be the first movie shot with my Canon ZR60. Wow, is this a waste? (The others were filmed with my webcam except for the Flag video, which was my Canon PowerShot A85 still camera.)
In other news, I'm still in college.
